Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BRIGHTWELL CUM SOTWELL (SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE District), Wallingford Road; on hill after Shillingford Bridge Hotel, in woodland behind a chain-link fence alongside footpath, on East side of road. Shillingford stone, erected by the Shillingford, Wallingford & Reading turnpike trust in the 19th century.
