A recent housing development in the middle of Wallingford.
The name almost certainly is to do with the town’s link to TV series Midsomer Murders.
Marketed outside the UK as “Barnaby” after the show’s hero Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby, the series is shot in locations all around this area, with Wallingford and Thame often sharing the honours of being Causton, the main town of the fictitious Midsomer county.
