The gridline between SU9677 and SU9777 runs diagonally across the lock, so this is a view of the downstream lock gates in SU9777 taken from the upstream lock gates in SU9677. Compare with [[118987]] for the view looking the other way. A heron can be seen waiting patiently between the second and third mooring bollards on the left side of the lock.
