TQ0371 : Thames Edge Court and Staines Bridge

by

Viewed just downstream of Staines Bridge and taken from the Surrey Bank. Thames Edge Court was completed in 2003 and sits on the site of the old Regal Cinema. Staines Bridge was opened in 1832 by King William IV. It was the 5th bridge to be built here in fifty years. The previous four, built 200m downstream from the current one, all failed.
This is on the Thames Path National Trail and the London Green Belt Way.
