The milestone is located on the West side of the road on the front edge of the pavement. Parish of Richmond Upon Thames (Richmond Upon Thames District). Carved stone post, Richmond stone design, erected by the Kensington to Cranford Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:- VII / MILES / FROM / HYDE PARK / CORNER
