TQ4379 : Woolwich ferry crossing, 1967

by

The ‘James Newman’ ferry making its crossing. Dock cranes dot the north bank of the Thames and tugs (possibly of Ship Towage (London) Ltd.) are moored at the old pier. The building on the left appears to be North Woolwich Station (now disused). To its right is a large building with ‘Courage’ painted on its river facing side.
